Job Summary:

As a Procurement Officer, you will involves managing the procurement cycle from supplier selection to contract management to support the organization's operational needs. Procurement Officer plays a vital role in optimizing purchasing activities to contribute to the overall success and sustainability of the organization. 

 Job Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimize cost savings while maintaining high-quality standards.

·         Identify potential suppliers, negotiate agreements, and manage supplier relationships effectively.

·         Evaluate and assess suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

·         Conduct market research to keep up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.

·         Collaborate with various departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.

·         Prepare and maintain procurement documentation and records.

·         Lead the tender preparation process, including drafting tender documents, conducting supplier evaluations, and ensuring compliance with tender requirements, to facilitate effective tender management.

·         Manage inventory levels to minimize excess and obsolete inventory. 

Requirements:

·         Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field.

·         At least 5 years' experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar procurement role.

·         Strong knowledge of procurement processes, procedures, and best practices.

·         Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

·         Proficient in using procurement software and tools.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
