This role dedicates to providing safe and efficient tram services to the passengers.  Commit to excellence in maintenance, repair and innovation in the field of tram engineering. This role will report to the Senior Mechanical Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee tramcar maintenance and construction.

• Monitor and arrange maintenance schedule for trams. Conduct statistical analysis of maintenance cycles to optimize efficiency.

• Design and implement tram improvement projects to enhance performance and reliability.

• Support the maintenance of tram depot facilities, including fire services systems, building services systems, dangerous goods handling, and lifting gear.

• Develop operating procedures, PowerPoint presentations, and detailed incident investigation reports for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

• Communicate with different parties to solve problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on work experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, preferably in a railway engineering environment.

• Strong analytical skills, statistical analysis and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications and CAD software.

• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
