Role Purpose

As a Control Room Inspector, you will play a crucial role in identifying and providing appropriate resolution to frontline operation staff, deploying suitable staff to handle and resolve issues. You will also need to liaise with engineering team and external parties to request for assistance or update situation when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling telephone calls from internal and external parties related to emergency, urgent, and non-urgent situation.
• Assessing, controlling and arranging inspectors and appropriate resolution when receiving queries and requests for assistance from frontline staff.
• Deploy inspectors to handle incidents along the tram lane and keep close liaison to achieve latest situation.
• Liaison with engineering team and external parties to request for assistance or update situation when necessary.
• Provide accurate and legible documentation, both handwritten and digitalized, relating to daily operation , incident report and fax document to external parties.
• Utilize the dispatch system for inputting frontline staff overtime record, update daily roaster in real time and generate reports for daily operation purpose.
• Providing operation and incident information to management team in a timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with the maintenance to improve the impact in case of degraded mode.

Profile & Qualifications

• Degree/ Higher Diploma holder in Logistics/Transportation/Engineering or other related field.
• At least 4 years work experience related to transportation.
• Knowledge of transport operations and maintenance processes.
• Previous experience in frontline transportation or operations environment is preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, analytical and planning skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Good command in MS Office applications and Chinese Word Processing.
